ART PROJECT in English artistic project part of the website Google Arts Culture that has incorporated more than 2000 museums and more than 50. 000 works, in addition to occupying the technology of interior plans with 360° view of Street View. According to Google, The Art Project is: "a unique collaborative project with some of the most acclaimed art institutions in the world so that users can discover and contemplate works of art online in great detail. In cooperation with more than 250 institutions, we have uploaded to the Internet tens of thousands of works of art from more than 6. 000 artists . This process involved taking a series of very high resolution images of famous works of art, in addition to gathering more than 30. 000 additional images in one location. It also involved the creation of 360º tours of the galleries with street view interior plan technology. The project has been expanding dramatically since its introduction. Currently, there are more than 45. 000 objects available in high resolution, in contrast to the 1. 000 of the first version of the project. Now Street View images span more than 60 museums, and in the future this number will be increased. The expanded version of the Art Project features the representation of a wide variety of institutions, large and small, from typical art museums to magnificent less traditional art sites.
