metaphor and examples is incorrectly written and it should be written as "metaphor" being its meaning: From Greek metaphora metaphoras, translation, change, transfer, displacement. Literary figure or trope that imaginarily identifies a reality with another based on some similarity between them for aesthetic purposes. Among these realities is given a semantic transfer figurative, like when you say to a woman: you are the light of my life.
