Historical mountainous and wooded region of Anatolia in Asia minor, located in the southwest of the present Turkey, near the island of Rhodes, which in the first Millennium b. C. developed own, being subsequently conquered by Persians, Greeks, Romans and Turks culture and language. This region, visited by Pablo de Tarso, speaks book of acts of the Apostles in Chapter 27.
