The palenqueras are some women of African descent, which in some towns and villages of Colombia, mainly on the coast, are engaged in the production and sale of a variety of sweets known as " cocadas 34, " joys 34, " 34 seahorses; " bar " etc. For the distribution of these sweets, these women through the streets with a bowl on the head.
