And also jediondo, is a way to pronounce smelly in some places of Spanish-speaking as Mexico, Cuba, Canaries, Andalusia or Extremadura, in which the initial h sucked more or less gentle into guttural. Smelly means smelling bad, from the Latin verb foetere: heder.
