gutifera is incorrectly written, and should be written as "gutifera" as meaning: Plant 40 family; trees, shrubs and grasses ) also called clusiaceas that includes about 50 genera and about 1200 species name of Latin origin: gutta, guttae: drop and fero: lead. Possibly because breaking a branch plant wise Milky drops it secretes.
