Meaning of regimen nival by Felipe Lorenzo del Río

regimen nival
  93

nival regime is incorrectly written and it should be written as "nival regime" to be its meaning: It is a type of river regime in which the flow of a river depends on snow or thaw. Since this thaw occurs in a relatively short time, to raise the temperature, floods are strong and frequent floods. An example of this is given in the Russian rivers, mostly in Siberia, with the aggravating circumstance that these rivers flow into the Arctic, where the melting is later. Spring occurs in what Russians call the " rasputitza " or absence of roads by extensive flooding.
