colifeo is incorrectly written, and should be written as "coryphaeus" being its meaning: Before the emergence of the classical Greek Theatre (Sophocles, Euripides, Aeschylus, Aristofenes... ) It was the young man who better sang and danced before the Temple of Dionysus and that going to the other Korybantes Greek parties. Then he went to designate which directed the choir in theatrical performances. The word comes from the Greek koryphaios koryphaiou: which comes first, at the top, the director of a Greek chorus.
