In Colombia and other parts of South America it is another of the common names we give to the tuft, a very common little bird, which abounds in cities. We also call them afrecheros. Its scientific name is Zonotrichia capensis and it belongs to the Passarellidae family. In other countries it is known as pirri, ticotico, chingolo, chingol, chaquia.
