gallina de los huevos de oro 8
It is said of something or someone that it produces unexpected wealth easily, and that thanks to Aesop we know that it must be cared for and maintained. It turns out that the Greek poet wrote a fable where a farmer comes out of his poverty when one of his hens starts laying a golden egg per day, and in his ambition he decides to open it to find the origin of all the wealth at once, but when he kills the animal he runs out of more eggs.
