Guayabero or guayabera is a type of wide shirt and skirts and short sleeves. Usually with embroidery and pockets. They can also be called Yucatecan in Mexico. They are used in hot climates. In Colombia it is the name of a river and an indigenous people of the Department of Guaviare, which are also known as cunimía, mitúa, mítiwa or jiw. In Central America it can mean liar, liar, mythomaniac.
