It is one of the common names given to a medium-sized marsupial, long-tailed and prehensile. In Colombia it is also called runcho, rabipelao, chucha or fara. In Mexico it is called Tlacuache, tacuacín or guazalo. Its scientific name is Didelphis marsupialis and it belongs to the Didelphidae family. It can have up to 20 offspring in a birth.
