Meaning of muaré by furoya

furoya

muaré
  17

It is the Spanish version of the French moiré ("with the appearance of mourn, of pressed fiber") which is a fabric with a fabric that produces shine effects with different waters depending on where you look at it, and by extension any design that creates that same illusion. It probably comes from the English mohair, a fiber made from the hair of the Angora goat.
