Asclepias curassavica . This plant of the asclepiadaceae subfamily, which I see also characterize some companions, has been called in many ways as Spanish flag (for the colors of its flowers), oleander, snake grass, venenillo. The latter by the toxics of its leaves devoured by the caterpillars of the monarch butterflies (danaus plexipus) that defend them against predators.
