Tyrannulus elatus, a bird commonly known as a crowned flycatcher, is a passerine bird, native to Central and South America. Only species of the genus Tyrannulus, about 14 cm long and 27 of wingspan, with a slender beak and hunched over at the tip, blackish back, reddish and white breast next to the rump, sides of the neck and in a wing spot.
