furoya

pirineos
  40

The Pyrenees mountains are a mountain range that separates Spain from France. The name comes from Greek mythology, as they would be a mausoleum erected by Heracles for his beloved, Princess Pyrene, along the furrow left by the fire that Geryon created to kill her and her unborn son. Actually, the name is related to fire (in Greek 960; 965; 961; "pyr") and uses the toponym suffix "-ene" which is very common in the Mediterranean.
