JOHN

cortisol
  21

CORTISOL Stress hormone produced by the supreme glands and that prepare the organism for flight, instantly increasing the amount of glucose in the blood to increase the available energy, discharge blood from the spleen and put the nervous and muscular system on high alert, focusing brain activity on dangers and safer escape alternatives. If there is a fire advertisement while watching a play the cortisol shoots up and will focus the person on the run. If a false alarm is then notified and returned to the seat, it will no longer be able to be attended to as before because cortisol takes 6 to 8 hours to gradually disappear from the blood and thus return to calm. The negative part of this survival remedy is that it is carcinogenic in nature.
