It is also called Listeria or Listeriosis. It is an infection caused by eating food contaminated with a bacterium called Listeria or Listeria monocytogenes. It is presented by consumption of raw foods, but especially cheese or sausages. Also for consumption of poorly washed vegetables, undercooked or raw fish. It can lead to death.
