Name of a Peruvian aboriginal people, who inhabited the current provinces of Ayacucho, Apurímac and Huancavelica, until the arrival of the conquistadors. Chanka can also be used. They were divided into Hanan (from above) and Unín (from below), according to their distribution in the mountain range. It was also called Parko village.
