It is the scientific name for the two-toed melero bear, two-toed cyclops, pygmy anthill or silky anthill. It is a desanited mammalian animal of solitary and nocturnal habits. In Colombia we also call it angelito or the great beast. It has golden fur with dark ventral stripes very noticeable and considered the softest in the world.
