DIPHENYL organic compound with two groups phenyl or phenyl . Phenyl is a molecule of benzene, which has 6 aromos of Carbon and 6 of Hydrogen, to which a hydrogen atom has been replaced. In the case, for example, in diphenyl ether both phenyls are bridged with an oxygen molecule, which replaces a hydrogen in each benzene.
