It's a freshwater crustacean. Its scientific name is Cryphiops caementarius. It belongs to the family Palaemonidae . It can be grown in ponds and cages. Macrobrachium rosenbergii, from the same family, is also told this way although it is better known as a Malaysian river prawn or prawn, as it is larger.
