It was the name of a marine musta bear figure charged with killing Cassiopeia, in Greek mythology. She was killed by Perseus. It is the name of a Constellation, also called Cetus or The Whale. Ceto is also the name of an Italian village that remains in the Province of Brescia (Lombardy Region). It is the name of a trans-American astronomical object. Name of the goddess of the sea in Greek mythology.
