It's the name of a fine wood tree. It is also known prieto cocobolo, funeram, granadillo, amber, namba, rosewood, black stick, caviuna, urauna. In Nicaragua they call him palosanto. In Colombia the most commonly used name apart from caviuna is granadillo . It belongs to the fabaceae family and its scientific name is Dalbergia retusa .
