CONECTIVE TISSUE organic tissue whose common origin is embryonic mesenchyma. According to this, 4 or 5 primordial tissues are determined: epithelial, connective, bleeding (for some only), muscle and nervous. From a functional point of view, connective tissues are classified as specialized and non-specialized. The specialized are: adipose, hematopoietic, blood, bone, cartilaginous and lymphatic.
