SHOEGAZE English SHOE, shoe and GAZE look intensely, admire (something) for a long time. It refers, however, to something not related to footwear but to fit, as is that in an instrumental ensemble each of the instruments is confused with the vocalist so that the voice becomes unclear and distinguished.
