Diminutive carpenter. Small carpenter. In Colombia it is the name of a bird. Its scientific name is Picumnus cirratus, although in Colombia Picumnus granadensis is also found and abounds more. We also know him as a telegraphist, Colombian carpenter or dotted carpenter. They belong to the family Picidae . In some parts they also call it picapals or picapalitos.
