From the Latin noun libitum, whim, will, craving, taste : At will, to personal taste, as everyone seems, at one's own discretion, however one wishes, without tax criteria. He frequently appears in musical scores (in Italian to piacere) in front of his anonymity obbligato. Its abbreviated form is ad lib .
