Chronic pathology of the inner ear caused by its inflammation and the increase of endolymph, often associated with migraines and neurotic character, which manifests itself in episodes of vertigo in which everything spins, tinnitus and hearing loss. It was described by the French physician Prosper Meniere in the mid-19th century.
