Danilo Enrique Noreña Benítez
It is a word of Quechua origin and means bear, or also snow keeper. In many places it is also called ukuku or ukuko to a type of hut, usually made of rolled wood, which is used as a refuge near nivales or high mountain areas. They are almost always ecological refuges.
