It means he eats flies or mosquitoes. They are birds that belong to the genus Myiobius, which means that (they eat flies or that live off flies). They are also birds that belong to a new family, called Onychorhynchidae (meaning that it has the beak as a claw) and that includes three genera : Onychorhynchus , Myiobius and Terenotriccus, which are known as musketees, flies, flycatchers or mosquito nets. They are typical of the Neotropics. They used to belong to the tyrannidae family.
