Ancient tree, the old community of Madrid, next to the stream Barondillo or Valhondillo, tributary of the Lozoya, in the District of Rascafría in the sierra de Guadarrama. His brother Bermiego yew in this Asturian town is the oldest in Spain with about 2000 years in the rings in its trunk. Their countrymen Asturian call it the teixu l Church by the venue in which it is located, recognizing its sacred character.
