In Argentina and Chile is one of the common names of a stout tree, also called that black, ear, ear, ear of kidney, pinion, caracaro, pacará, puita, guanacaste, corotú. Its scientific name is Enterolobium cyclocarpum of the family Fabaceae. It is also the name of a site in Paraguay where a battle took place in the Gran Chaco War, also called Acayuazu, Acaguasu, Acaguasa, or redoubt Cora.
