It is the same as DDT. A product name used last century to eliminate pests, especially insects. Its chemical name is Dichloro diphenyl trichloroethane. It was very questioned its use (it is currently prohibited in Colombia) by its residual action. Traces of DDT are currently in breast milk of African women.
