It is the name given to measures of volume and capacity and surface in Spain. They are equivalent to 1, 5 arpents of Castilla. In the case of volume or capacity or to measure liquids it amounted to 83, 25 litres ( a bushel is 55, 5 litres ). For measurement of surface were approximately 9600 sqm ( the bushel were 6400 square meters ). It was very difficult to use them, because they changed measures from region to region.
