The word "coger" is defined in the Dictionary of the Real Academia Española under de meaning Nr. 31 as "intr. vulg. Am. Cen., Arg., Bol., Méx., Par., R. Dom., Ur. y Ven. Realizar el acto sexual." It clearly is the english "F-word" and with this meaning "pornoco" it is used at least in Uruguay and Argentina, not only by adolescents, by adults too.
It underlies the myth that grains, pimples and outbreaks on the face are halted by regular sexual activity.
