Canaya is a word in spanish, used in most spanish speaking countries. It's an insult and it basically means "back-stabber" it is often used to reffer to someone who did something unjust. It is used for female and male pronouns. There's an exception for when you say it to a female, since it can also be a nickname coming from adoration(It may vary depending on the country & culture).
