The concept of hidalgo and fidalgo ( common and old English literature ) It has its origin in Spain and Portugal and is a synonym of nobleman.Hijodalgo or Hidalgo, sígnifica person that his blood is a noble and distinguished class. In the former regime were majority in Cantabria, Asturias, Biscay and very numerous in Castile la Vieja and Navarra.
