In the Departments of Cauca and Nariño in Colombia and Ecuador it is a way of calling the mestizo woman. It also means mulatto. By extension woman of the village, village. Another way to call it is bolsicona. The word is a deformation of the term of the Quechua language Llapanga, which means barefoot, which walks on clean foot.
