In language quechua yaku means water, watery, tasteless. The common name for a bird of the family Cracidae, also known as Yacu is poi, yacupemba, Guan girl. Its scientific name is Penelope superciliaris. It is found in Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Paraguay.
