WRAP-DRESS anglilicism by wraparound dress . In the 1970s, Diane von Furstenberg, the wife of Prince Egon von Furstenberg, went from model to designer, creating a dress in which she joined the top with the skirt, giving rise to wrap dress. Its first sale was in 1973 Its characteristic is that it has a front closure, wrapping side by side, tying itself by the back at waist height or by buttons fasteners.
