The Willys Jeep is a small off-road vehicle manufactured by the American automobile company Willys Overland Motors. There were two versions of this vehicle: the regular Willys and the extra-long Willys.
It is a surname of English origin. Model and brand of campero (off-road) widely used in the coffee zone of Colombia, better known as Yip (by the North American Jeep company). It has four-wheel drive and is lightweight. It was manufactured by the Willys-Overland Motors company and its inventor and designer was John North Willys.
It is the popularized name of the American automotive company Willys-Overland Motors (1908 - 1963), whose most famous vehicle was the off-road Willys MB, later known as Jeep. The origin is in the surname of its founder John North Willys.
