Wile E. Coyote ("The Coyote") is a Warner Brothers cartoon character created by animator Chuck Jones in 1949, although it was not always featured under that name. In principle he was partnaire of Road Runner (The Road Runner) in one of the most surreally violent animated series on television, even though the characters rarely had physical contact.
