It literally means wild card. These are English language terms. It can be translated as wildcard or invitation card (or letter). It is something that is especially used in Tennis and in big tournaments. It can also be used in some cases to complete or fill a quota of participants, for the obligatory absence of one of those enrolled either by illness, injury or waiver to participate.
