walanday is incorrectly written, and should be written as "Gualanday" being its meaning: Gualanday, guandalay or walanday is a tree of the bignoniaceae family, occurs in tropical places and there are almost across the continent of America ( Scientific name: Jacaranda copaia ). It is the same Jacaranda. In Colombia there is also a small village near to Ibague, capital of the Department of Tolima, called Gualanday.
