From the latin vitium, imperfection, defect or perhaps vitulus, calf of meat blancorrosacea. A term coined in the 1st century by the encyclopedist, perhaps medical, Aulo Cornelio Celso. Autoimmune disease that despigmenta the skin in different parts of the body for the loss or lack of melanocytes. It tends to be associated with other diseases such as the celiac, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes. .
