Surely it is a mistake by the tuyuyú bird (Mycteria americana).
In Colombia it is another way of calling a gigantic wading bird which we also call garzón, garzón soldado , jabiru , pionío . Its scientific name is Jabiru mycteria and belongs to the family Ciconiidae.
