CATTAIL and CARRIZALEl Cattail and the carrizal is represented by plants from 1-3 m tall, narrow leaves and foliar organs. They form dense Lake and marshy areas areas, distribuyendose from the level of the sea to around 2750 m of height. Those genres more representative are Typha, Scirpus, Cyperus, Phragmites and Cladium.
