1º_ Gentilicio and relative to the region Tuscany ( Italy ) . 2º_ In the Río de la Plata is a generic for "cigar of Italian origin", although in reality 'Toscano®' is the trademark of a traditional cigar created by accident in the Manifattura Tabacchi of Florence in the early nineteenth century, when a storm wet some that were reserved for the Grand Duke of Tuscany, and that they were dried for not discarding them, discovering that the rain had intensified their flavor. Although with other owners, the brand – which pays homage to the duke – still exists.
