There are six municipalities in Spain that are home to a nuclear power plant. Hence comes the name of termyca or thermal, although that name is used only in the electricity sector for coal and fuel oil facilities. Three of these facilities are involved in a network of corruption that the Guardia Civil in Spain uncovered a few days ago in the so-called operation Termyca.
